GRAPHIC.GLORY is the result of everything on this site. from my perspective, all of the videos here are really just rehearsal footage. they are ideas i was testing out. they are incomplete thoughts.
GRAPHIC.GLORY is a pop/dvd/music/video/album/coverband/breakup record/download/digital/dance/art/peepshow/piece/backdrop/investigation/point of departure and/or arrival that pushes these ideas into a coherent thought. an album of small video tracks and reprogramed pop songs, presented in order. i directed what happens on screen. i also created the music.
it does not depend on being curated or being presented in showcases. it is self sufficient. it was made with available materials, bodies, clothes, cameras, and software. it is not high def, it is do it yourself. THERE IS A LOT OF DANCING, BUT IT’S NOT A DANCE. more like cOMPLICATED KARAOKE.
